TASTING NOTES
Quinta da Alorna Rose
Made from 100% Touriga Nacional grapes (the main variety for vintage Port), this wine has a floral aroma of violets with ripe berry flavors on the palate. A full-bodied rose that has a long, dry finish; this is not White Zin at all.
Condado das Vinhas
This is primarily Arintho, which produces a white wine with lively fruit aromas and citrus notes. Clean, crisp and refreshing, it is similar to a full-bodied Pinot Grigio.
Quinta dos Grilos
Made from Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro grapes, this wine has aromas of black raspberry and dark chocolate. Ripe black fruits on the palate with mild tannins and a pleasing finish make this a great cocktail red.
Cerejeiras (Sara-jare-us)
Primarily Tempranillo, the nose reminds us of an Argentine Malbec it is so fruit forward. A touch more rustic than the Grilos, there is a good balance between fruit and acidity. Delicious.
Burmester 10 year Tawny Port
Burmester is renowned for their Tawny Ports. The 10 year old is deep tawny in color with aromas of dried fruits, hazelnuts & almonds, vanilla, cherries and jams that combines to create an elegant and complex wine. On the palate, it is balanced and full-bodied, sweet with fruity scents of plums. Dried fruits complement the rich and lengthy finish.
